A pinch valve is a full-bore linear action valve designed to control or shut off abrasive, corrosive, or slurry media. It operates by pinching a flexible rubber or elastomeric sleeve using a mechanical or pneumatic mechanism to restrict fluid flow.
Pinch valves offer a straight-through, full-port flow path with zero dead space, preventing clogs, scaling, or solids accumulation. Because only the elastomeric sleeve contacts the working fluid, mechanical components are completely isolated from wear and corrosion.
