Plug Valves Supplier

Plug Valves is creased non corrosive polymer and can resist any type of chemicals at various infections. It is available from 25 mm NB to 150 mm NB. Plug Valves are virtually unaffected by changes in processing temperature or chemical concentration. In-fully-line valve, the fluorocarbon lining is locked into the valve body.

Plug Valves, Control Valve India, are permeated with P.T.F.E. which provides greater wear conflict and ensures low consistent operating twisting and at the same time reducing the need of lubrication P.T.F.E. Also enhances resistance to seizure.

"Flowrise" taper plug self Lubricated valves are also available in Non - Lubricated designs. Flanged & Screwed.

  • Wheel type is ideal for Uniform operation.
  • Gun Metal/Stainless Steel rings gives better life to the valve body and useful where more acidic materials are passing.

Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs) - Plug Valves

What is a plug valve and how does it work?

A plug valve is a quarter-turn rotational motion valve that uses a cylindrical or tapered plug with one or more hollow passages to control flow. Rotating the plug 90 degrees aligns or blocks the opening relative to the flow path.

What is the difference between lubricated and non-lubricated plug valves?

  • Lubricated Plug Valves: Inject grease or lubricant under pressure between the plug surface and body seat to reduce friction, protect against corrosion, and ensure a bubble-tight seal in high-pressure/temperature services.
  • Non-Lubricated Plug Valves: Utilize a polymer sleeve (such as PTFE) or elastomer lining around the plug to eliminate the need for routine lubrication, making them ideal for low-maintenance and contamination-sensitive applications.

What are the advantages of plug valves in industrial piping?

Plug valves provide quick quarter-turn operation, low fluid resistance, compact design, reliable tight shut-off, and excellent performance in handling slurries, mud, and heavy fluids without clogging.
